Euro 6 all the way
With clean air zones (CAZ) due to come into force in 2021 HTF transport have committed to purchasing new euro6 vehicles to ensure compliance and help reduce the emissions created by the vehicles entering areas of poor air quality. The latest vehicle purchased to cover the Generator Power contract is equipped with the latest Volvo Euro6 power train. Along with the Hiab X-HIPRO 558 EP-5 and the tridem axle configuration makes this vehicle ideal for the generator industry.
With increasing requirements for vehicles and drivers to be FORS compliant HTF Transport see it key that all vehicles in the fleet should meet the standard and lead the way in road safety and compliance. The latest vehicles is equipped with a 4 camera system recording onto a HDD in the vehicle and displayed onto a monitor inside the cab to reduce the blind spot for the driver. The vehicle is also fitted with a nearside side scan system to detect objects including vulnerable road users. Finally the vehicle is equipped with additional audible warning devices for the vehicle for turning left and reversing.
