Who Are HTF Transport?

HTF Transport is a family run haulage and lifting company working from a depot in Audenshaw, east Manchester. We have been moving and lifting loads for customers since 1989, and today run a modern fleet of HIAB crane lorries, tractor units, ramp equipped vehicles and 4×4 LCVs.

Every lift is carried out by our own trained operators rather than subcontracted out, so the person on the crane is the person we are accountable for. The fleet holds FORS Silver accreditation, all vehicles are ADR compliant for hazardous loads, and every unit is TomTom tracked so we can give you accurate progress on your delivery. We work around the clock, including nights and weekends, for jobs that need road closures or out of hours access.

  • Can you deliver to MediaCityUK and the Salford Quays construction sites?

Yes. MediaCityUK is undergoing a £1bn Phase 2 expansion that will double the 200-acre campus with 10 new buildings, 540,000 sq ft of offices, and 1,800 apartments. The Quays area is a pedestrian-priority zone, so large vehicle access requires pre-arranged permits and timed deliveries. Our operators are experienced with these constraints and coordinate with site logistics teams. We’re equipped to deliver broadcast equipment, steel structures, modular units, and construction materials both to the studios complex, home to the BBC, ITV Granada, and dock10, and to the new-build sites.

The Phoenix Quarter in Pendleton is building 485 low-carbon homes to Future Homes Standard 2025. We provide crane lorry services for steel, precast panels, timber frame modules, and heavy plant across these active sites. Our CPCS and CSCS qualified operators meet the safety standards required by major contractors like Willmott Dixon and Lovell.

  • Do you provide HIAB hire for the Eccles, Swinton, and Walkden areas?

Yes. Eccles, Swinton, and Walkden are core parts of our Salford coverage. Swinton is home to Agecroft Commerce Park (200,000 sq ft warehousing, tenants include Bunzl and PZ Cussons) and Agecroft Enterprise Park. Eccles borders Trafford Park with established industrial premises along the Ship Canal. Sites in these areas are typically a 25 to 35 minute drive from our Audenshaw depot via the M60 or A580 East Lancs Road.

  • Do you serve Trafford Park from your Salford coverage?

Yes. Trafford Park sits directly across the Manchester Ship Canal from Salford Quays and is Europe’s largest industrial estate, covering 4.7 square miles and housing 1,400 companies and 40,000 workers including Amazon, Kellogg’s, Adidas, and Unilever. We’re well placed to provide HIAB hire and container transport to Trafford Park businesses, accessing the estate via the M60 or the Ship Canal crossings. The park’s rail freight terminal handles over 20 daily services, and our crane lorries cover the road side with deliveries of machinery, containers, and industrial equipment.
