The latest lorry loader vehicle to hit the road in 2024!

HTF Transport have continued to expand the fleet of lorry loaders with the addition of yet another Volvo FH, this time fitted with a PM70.5 lorry loader with an impressive 20.5 m horizontal reach, lifting a staggering 2,280kg

This vehicle is the first in the fleet of 13 lorry loaders that has the front stabilisers. This brings a new dimension to planning and executing lifts at HTF Transport. The front stabiliser allows the lorry loader to operate 360 degrees around the truck without any downturn in performance which you would get on a lorry loader without front legs or ‘V’ stabiliser configuration.

This feature is extremely beneficial when completing multiple lifts, covering a large area such as setting up cabins on building sites and festivals. The full length Volvo chassis also provides additional strength with the front stabilisers being connected directly without any modifications being required.

The PM70.5 is the latest generation lorry loader developed by the Italian crane maker. The latest model is providing an increased lifting capacity whilst reducing the loader weight in comparison the to PM65 range. PM Cranes have proven to be safe and reliable over the 35 years HTF Transport have operated them.

T80 HTF - Radio remote control operation

The Volvo FH500 comes as standard with all the driver comforts including a reclining drivers bed, TV, microwave, fridge freezer, DAB radio and climate control. In addition to this HTF Transport have had the latest DVS technology fitted by Vision UK to provide the driver with increased visibility through the use of cameras with built in AI to detect vulnerable road users and pedestrians, covering areas all around the vehicle including in front of the cab. This ensures the vehicle is compliant for the latest changes in the regulations for vehicles entering the London direct vision zone. Find out more about Direct Vision
